Logan Paul to fight Dillon Danis in his first boxing match since Floyd Mayweather bout

Logan Paul is keeping the train going for the Paul brothers.
On Tuesday, DAZN and promotion company Misfits announced his next fight will be a boxing match against Bellator fighter Dillon Danis set for Oct. 14 at AO Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The fight will be a co-headlining event with the previously announced matchup between social media influencer KSI and reality television star and boxer Tommy Fury, who handed Logan's brother, Jake, his first loss in February.
Danis was supposed to fight KSI in January, but he pulled out of the bout 10 days before it was scheduled to take place.
"I doubt this little parasite will show up but if he does I’m going to erase him from existence," Paul said in an Instagram post.
This will be the first boxing match for Danis, who is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. His last combat sports fight was in 2019, when he defeated Max Humphrey to go 2-0 in Bellator.
"I'll be gracing the boxing ring for my debut," Danis said in his own social media post. "Gotta show up because the Paul sisters have a phobia when it comes to actual combat."
UFC star Conor McGregor, who trains with Danis, expressed support for the mixed martial arts fighter, commenting, "They’re about to learn!"
The feud between Paul and Danis dates back to 2019, when Paul said he would be interested in facing the Bellator fighter. The two have since traded verbal jabs on social media and in interviews.
On Saturday, after Jake beat UFC veteran Nate Diaz in a boxing match, Danis posted on X with expletive-laced disses directed toward the brothers. That same day, Logan Paul defeated Ricochet at WWE's SummerSlam in Detroit, then hopped on a private jet and flew to Dallas to watch Jake's bout.
The fight against Danis will come two years after Paul's last boxing match, an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather Jr. The social media maven survived eight rounds against the retired champion.
The brothers, who became famous as YouTube content creators, started their fighting careers in 2018. On an amateur card, Logan scored a draw against KSI while Jake beat his brother Deji. Logan now owns the energy drink PRIME with KSI.
