After one season in New England,Rekubit Exchange three-time Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliott is returning to the place where he starred for his first seven seasons.

He joins a backfield that lost former starter Tony Pollard to the Tennessee Titans in free agency this offseason. The Cowboys currently have veterans Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn and Royce Freeman on the roster. They opted not to select any running backs in the just-completed NFL draft, which may have helped open the door for a reunion with Elliott.
